First Person Boxing Roblox tips

Missing your counter, running out of stamina or losing sight of an opponent? Pick the problem you recognize and give your next practice round one clear purpose.

Use these as practice ideas. The developer describes guards, slips, counters, stamina and AI practice. The drills below are our editorial suggestions, not game-tested combos or measured competitive advice.

Choose one problem before your next round

If you have not found your device’s inputs yet, start with the controls reference. For a complete first-session checklist, use the beginner guide.

01

Find a distance you can repeat

When a punch misses, avoid changing the attack, movement and timing all at once. That makes the cause difficult to identify. Start each attempt from a similar position and compare a small step closer with a small step farther away.

TRY THISIn AI practice, make one attack and reset your position. Repeat with only the starting distance changed. Watch the contact and the space left between you afterward.

Keep the attempt simple enough that you can explain what changed. This guide does not publish a universal reach measurement: reach and timing need verification in the current game.

02

End an exchange while you still have options

If you become slow after a long attack, check your stamina before blaming the controls. The official description says exhaustion slows your fighter. Treat a shorter exchange as something to compare, not as a fixed combo to memorize.

TRY THISWatch the meter during a brief attack, then ease off and observe it. Compare this with a longer burst. Note whether you can still reposition or defend comfortably afterward.

Do not assume that holding a particular guard always restores stamina or that a universal recovery timer applies. Look at the current session’s feedback. The useful habit is checking the meter before committing again.

03

Read the target before choosing a guard

The game distinguishes protection for the head and body. If you keep defending the wrong area, temporarily stop trying to win the exchange and focus on recognizing the incoming attack.

TRY THISObserve one attack, choose a defensive response, and reset. Compare what you expected with what you saw. Add your own attack only after the defensive input feels familiar.

Use the controls shown on your device. The community PC key list on our controls page is a reference; it is not a confirmed map for mobile or console.

04

Separate a successful dodge from a successful counter

A missed reply does not mean the defensive move failed. You may have avoided the incoming punch but ended up too far away, faced the wrong direction or answered late. Check each part separately.

TRY THISAfter a defensive move, look at your position before replying. Try one response rather than a long follow-up. If it misses, repeat the defense and change only the distance or the timing.

There is no verified frame window or guaranteed counter sequence on this page. Keep a useful observation such as “my reply was out of range” instead of recording every lost exchange as a bad dodge.

05

Keep the opponent in view

First-person movement can make a close exchange difficult to read. If the opponent keeps leaving your view, practice smaller movement inputs before adding attacks. Check whether your camera control feels comfortable on the device you actually play on.

TRY THISMove while keeping the opponent visible, without attacking. Stop and reset whenever you lose track of them. Add one attack only when you can return to a position you recognize.

We do not recommend a universal sensitivity number. Device, display and personal control preferences differ; change one setting at a time and compare the same simple exercise.

Turn a PvP loss into one useful note

After a match, choose a moment you can describe: a missed attack, an exhausted exchange, the wrong guard or a lost view. Record what happened just before it. Take that single situation back into practice instead of changing every input or chasing a different style immediately.

A short note could be: “I kept attacking after the meter was low; next round I will stop earlier and watch my recovery.” This is an example practice note, not a result from our own match testing.

Common questions about Roblox tips

Are these tips for real boxing?

No. This page concerns the Roblox experience First Person Boxing by Can You Box?. It is not coaching for physical boxing or sparring.

Which fighting style is best?

We have not tested a complete style roster or measured matchups. Use a familiar setup while you diagnose range, stamina and defense. A ranked tier list would require evidence that this guide does not currently have.

Will codes fix a difficult matchup?

The codes page lists reported rewards and their sources. A code list is separate from learning the controls or improving a specific exchange; it does not establish that a style or reward will win a match.
